After a bit of research, Akrapovic seems to be the only aftermarket exhaust that delivers a slightly throatier sound, a total of around 2.8% in overall gain, HP and torque combined.
And a weight loss of 5 lbs.
All for around $600. It's staying stock. :D

Can I ask everyone a favor?

Can we all add our bikes to the vehicle bit of our profiles below our trucks? Or in the signatures? I can't keep straight who is on what bike. I'm one of those people that will forget your name immediately after being introduced, so I forget who has what.

If you have more than one, maybe just the primary bike?

Love it. Thats what I do with a spare Samsung A12 that I have. Is that android auto home screen?

What offline maps are you using? (I use a combo of google maps offline, and GPX Viewer Pro - sideloaded )

The app that is up is called DMD2. I have a few options for offline maps. Google Maps, Maps.Me, Osmand, garmin earthmate (only available if you have an inreach). google maps is my go to but osmAnd is becoming one of my favorites.

I'm moving in 10 days and don't think I'm going to have another day to get out and snag more before it ends at the end of the month, but managed to get out on the grom and snag another 6 murals around town bringing my total for the GLMC Grand Tour to a *drum roll* WHOPPING 26. Pretty sure Chuck has gotten more than that in a single day before breakfast than I did all summer  Still fun though and glad I participated. Google drive folder submitted

I needed to give some bicycle wheels to a friend who lives about 100 miles away, so I decided to get creative and stick them on the Versys.

    IMG_1385.jpg

He also rides motorcycles so we went on a ride afterwards!

    IMG_1190.jpg

All in all a fun day.

The important thing is that you did have fun. I'm just fortunate to be living in an area that made this theme ridiculously easy for me to run up a crazy high score. One thing I did do though, if you look at the date stamps on my pics you'll see I was out at least one day of every weekend since January 1 except for 2 weekends. I made 3 separate trips into downtown Baltimore alone and snagged murals in PA, MD, DE, OH, VA, and WV. I need 7 more murals to hit 1000.

Glad you signed up to play!

Well I think I finally found my next truck. It’s about 3 1/2 hours away but it’s the one I have been looking for. It’s a 2013 Tacoma access cab 2wd 4cyl 5speed manual 1 owner no accidents with 49,000 orig miles. That’s only 5000 miles a year. It should haul my R3 to the track no problem. It’s not cheap but it was just under high green Kelly blue book. Most are asking over that but seems like prices are starting to come down. This truck should last me 20 years with the amount of driving I will be doing. I am renting a car to drive down on Tues to check it out. Yes I have a deposit on it so it’s mine if everything checks out. It sure will be nice not having to search constantly for the right truck.

You might be right about the engine and drivetrain BUT NOT THE Transmission. Row row row your truck. Lol. I actually hated the auto that was in my 2022 even after the flash tune. It was the first auto Toyota truck I had ever owned.

But the 6-speed manual has one more gear so that must mean it’s better

I've owned ~15 cars now and none have been automatics and I don't plan on starting now. As much as I want something like a GX470 I don't know if I can commit to an auto.

A good auto is fine. Love a manual, but the convenience of an auto and not killing my hip has merit, too.

I just feel I'll get bored of it after a while. The Navi was the first (and only) automatic vehicle I've owned and I got bored of it and was so happy to get a clutch back on the Grom.

Took a nice ride up into the mountains today, the old 250 did pretty good, at least for a 40 year old bike :)
