    Happened upon this rare beast today.

    A 1961 Studabaker Hawk. Had the original Studabaker motor which is a 289 cubic inch but not a Ford 289. It originally came with a 4-barrel but someone put on a Holly 4-barrel. Needed some work but a very rare piece.

    1969 1/2 A12 Roadrunner 440 6-Pack 4-Speed.. :)

    A friend of mine in high school late 70’s was able to drive his dads around on occasion. His was yellow with the lift off fiberglass hood. But, his dad blew up the original 440 and so he dropped in a HEMI. I’ll never forget riding with him and pulling into a gas station. He wanted to check the oil before our night out of cruising. It takes two people to lift that hood off. People were already gathering around that car drooling over it. Once the hood came off and there displayed before them was a chromed out HEMI with dual quads. Even more people came over. Good times.

    I was so excited about that Roadrunner I skimmed right past this custom mini bike with a Yamaha RD 350 2-Stroke screaming motor. Talk about a death trap, that would get you there in a hurry.

    Fist new car I ever rode in. Dad bought it when he came home from Vietnam in 69. Mom traded it in late 70's for $75 off on a Buick reliant K-car. Will never forget that!
