Hey woodtickgreg, another thought on the notice, guy I used to work with always said, you know they’ll fire you in a heartbeat, so screw their notice, especially the way you’ve been treated. Hopefully you get that phone call, ASAP !

 

Well no phone call today either, I give up. Just can't get a break it seems.

Went by my grandparents old house today. Boy what a view they had.

 

I agree the not knowing is the worst.

Could just be bad timing paper work errors . Normal office confusion everyone thinks someone else is doing that task so it never gets done.

Positive thoughts over the weekend. Keep telling yourself he'll call Monday and I'll start the following Monday. Then go ride for a week,summers almost over and before you know it you'll be throwing triples to get up a hill lol.

Thanks for the positive thoughts, much appreciated. But at this point after the conversations I've had with the guy that interviewed me and road tested me it's not up to him and I'm not real confident on this job at this point. So the search goes on. I was thinking this morning that I haven't really had anything positive to say on this thread and that's just not who I am, sad really I'm not normally a complainer. But this place has nothing to give me to be joyous about. Crap hours, crap equipment, crap service and maintenance, working 6 days, and crap management that treats you like crap, 2 faced backstabbing kiss asses. It wears on a person after awhile. I'm sorry guys for my bad attitude. I hate being like this.

 

Trust me most of us understand !!

Woodtick we've all been there and understand your frustration,no need to apologize to us. It's good to vent. Whatever job comes up take it right away, don't feel like you have to give notice .

 

Oh yeah, I don't plan to give notice. That's one thing I'll take joy in, lol.

 

You'll find the right thing for you just hang in there.
And as others said they won't come up to you say hey we're going to fire you in 2 days. I was always suspicious when they hired a new guy, when we had a full staff. Who's getting fired?

 

I was thinking about that in this case.

Trying to keep the hiring a new driver on the down low till the one being replaced is gone.

Had a few jobs where I was all I could do to drag my sorry ass in. Hang in there, it can only get better right?
