LOL I really want to but last time my ADHD or whatever took me up in Minnesota on the north shore of Superior. Hard to commit when you don't have a plan and let your un-checked mental demons take the wheel hahaha.

To be fair, my "winter" tires are Toyo AT3's. So, aside from mud, they're plenty sticky for most off-roading. I was getting sick of listening to the MT's, plus I don't feel great about driving hundreds of miles on a bent wheel.

Seems like a pretty offensive poll so far.

If anyone has not voted yet, please do so. As of right now, it appears that five people are coming on this trip. That is totally fine, but we have generally had more than that.

In the meantime, anyone who is for sure coming please post your basic plan, ie when you think you are going to arrive, are you tent camping or truck camping, are you bringing a spouse, SO, or friends.

Also, East twin and Day Lake are about an hour and 15 minutes from Bayfield. This might make it a little less appealing to go to the Apple festival. It might not be bad if we carpool, to make the drive more entertaining. Any comments about this?

Really? Only five? Bummer... Might have a couple more locals again.

Friday will be an early day and so you can easily have time for Bayfield. We can also stay up at Birch Grove again; it will make for longer commutes Friday and Saturday but easier access to Bayfield. I Was really tired last year after Saturday's run, so just remembering that is all.

I am planning to camp Thursday, Friday and Saturday with you hooligans. I will get there Thursday after work. planning to do an easy supper Thursday. Is Tim coming? If so we need to talk and team up on the food thing...

I'm planning on taking off Thursday and Friday. I'm hoping to be there Thursday afternoon. I'm thinking setup camp and maybe get a little kayaking in as well. But, I'm not 100% sure I'll bring the kayak.

I'm sure we'll end up with a few more people.

My plan is to come up Thursday. I'll be stopping in Prentice to drop the wife off at her parents. Somebody remind me to pick her up on Sunday.

    Possible non-sanctioned mini event opportunity:

I'm starting my typical fall solo road trip by camping at Tigerton OHV on Friday 9/22 and leaving on Sunday 9/24. I reserved site #65 so if someone wanted to join they can crash. Don't remember how many trucks fit there, maybe limited to 3? Alternatively, sites 66 and 61 in the loop and 69 down the road are still available as of now so if yous fellas want to reserve the other sites for a medium-sized wheeling group then go right ahead.

My personal goal isn't to spend a huge amount of time doing 4x4 stuff (mostly because I can't risk breaking the truck on the first day of a long road trip), but instead I'll be playing with cameras trying to better photograph the rapids and waterfalls both inside and outside of the park. That will likely make me a bit boring and anti-social compared to the normal TW events. That's not to say you can't hang out while I take way way too many photos but I reckon much like watching paint dry nobody would volunteer to do that and I take no offense lol. Figured I could share and at least try to not let such a big campsite go to waste with just a single truck, and if you want to wheel I won't hold you back but just know I may not join in all that much either.

Post here if interested or PM me and I'll try to keep tabs on things.

Update 9/13: @pearing confirmed joining in on the 23rd, w00t!
