I had to order a new screw plate for my tripod because I can’t find the original. But it will be here tomorrow and It’ll be up and running.

I had an unused plastic tool box with the tray in the top. I organized most of my stuff in that it’s pretty helpful

I just finished putting all my AR tools and extra parts in a three drawer toolbox. I have a steel carry toolbox with two drawers I am getting ready to turn into a cleaning kit box. Just tired of crap everywhere :annoyed:

I don’t believe I could although the caliber would make me think twice. Nothing against 40 I just like to keep a limited number of calibers and adding something different just means adding more stuff

On the topic of organizing cleaning supplies, parts, etc. When I built this stand up/sit with stool gun maintenance station (I think I posted pics a while back), I did a complete reorg of all that. Found one of those Plano gun cleaning boxes with 2 removable trays. Fits all of my gun cleaning supplies. The small grey Plano ammo box has some basic AR replacement parts like springs, gas rings, firing pins, bolts, full BCG's....stuff like that. The small camo Plano box has all my tools. It's a nice setup. It's in my dry, heated basement. The most frequent used cleaning products I just keep to the right.

Edit to ad. That red Dakine pouch is my compact cleaning kit for at the range. Have another in my range bag as it's inevitable that I'll forget one.

Damn that’s impressive. With that setup I might actually be able to find things.

My labor day sales orders finally all came in. Some Magpul LR-308 20 round mags, Glock 17 and Glock 19 mags.

Also on the road trip I stopped at Brownells again....this time they had a couple BRN-180 uppers on clearance. I picked up two, not quite sure which on I actually wanted...a 16" and 18" 223. (the other options were a 762x39 16", 762x39 short one and another 223 18"). They had some scuffs and chipped anno on them, but for the price that was easy to over look. The salesmen apparently knew about them. Guess they were an odd mix of uppers that had never been shot and had just been sort of tossed around. He thought they were all early ones off the production line that were perfectly fine but were taken out for various QC checks and just never made it back into the line before getting dinged up. Then were attempted to be sold at employee events but nobody ever wanted them. No clue if its true or not but sounded plausible at least lol.

I wasn't happy about it and purchased a gun safe out of necessity due to cousins and friends starting to have kiddos. I knew I needed it, but I didn't realize till afterwards that I actually WANTED it.

My 30.06 and 9mm are missing from the picture, but I'd say it's still a good look! You'll notice some AR-style rifles and magazines with a capacity greater than 10 rounds; tragically, I lost all of those this morning in a boating accident.
