I haven't seen you post here about it but so far, how's the tuning on the Taco? All done?

 

Ya makes more sense for me with the woodworking projects

 

Been good, still some kinks. Have some issues with hot temp cold starts, high throttle boost, and need to get my timing fully figured out, but it makes good power nearly up to the target 15.5psi (boost controller still learning)

 

Does the haltech manage boost for you?

 

Yep, it has closed loop control on fuel, timing, and boost. Timing requires proper knock sensors though that I haven't had the will/time to put in yet.

 

Speaking of, @Speedytech7, I think the P/N for the studs you link are 90126-08046, so a bit cheaper if you have a dealer nearby than that other site you linked

 

Yeah, if you have a junkyard with a car that has a 1ZZ or 2ZZ engine in it, that's where you'll find those.

A Mexican mule is pretty good too. But for me whiskey makes everything tasty better.

yeah I don't care for rum but if it's in a good mixed drink I'll take it. But rum straight...bleh

Same for gin, but I don't think any normal person drinks gin straight. I could drink gin and tonics all day though if I didn't mind early liver failure
