I had a small piece of gravel come off the tire of an adjacent truck riding to work once this spring and hit me square in the chest. Based on the sensation that gave me the rest of the ride, I can't imagine catching that in the face.

My buddy (who bought the ninja from me) and I have an agreement that we won't get groms because we would absolutely be stupid with them. The ninja is bad enough, we're planning on knobbies for mine.

Have you ever seen a person ride a Grom and not be an absolute hooligan on it? I don't think it's actually possible.

I took a partridge to my right shoulder at 55-60 my second or third year riding. Nearly knocked me off the bike, I thought it was a damn deer coming out of the side of the road at first. Even with an icon racing jacket and helmet I had a black and blue shoulder that looked like I got hit with a baseball bat the next day.

I witnessed someone taking a seagull off the helmet (no not Andrea Ionnone https://youtu.be/P38EYkb9ypU?si=ktRrr1KfAOVmBudv). No thanks. I've had a branch fall out of a tree and hit me, I hit a robin with the bike at 120~ and it didn't explode luckily. Worst, and wearing a full helmet or not wouldn't have mattered, was getting a hornet down the front of my race suit on the track. It stung me 6 times by the time I killed it.

I feel like we need to be more inclusive and start recognizing Monkey's, Trail 125's, or Dax's (whenever we can get hands on them..) as acceptable hoonible options, too

I know 2 guys riding ninjettes and doing long distance rallies on them. One has over 100k miles on it and still going strong.

Had a bird hit me in the helmet while commuting on the DC beltway, it was kind of a glancing blow and I wasn't sure what it was till I looked in the mirror and saw a bunch of feathers. It didn't rock my world though, more of a "that was kinda weird" moment. Dogs and deer scare me far worse.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I saw a ‘21 monkey in my area for cheap. Only ~300 miles on it.

same reason I've not purchased a Navi, because it would be used like it was cheap minibike and completely toss able. because I've jumped my Coleman bt200x plenty.

I mean we could… but we won’t :rofl:Found out the other day that crosswalks don’t have the same amount of grip as pavement. Full lean blasting through a parking lot when I felt both tires sliding. :D
