    It really doesn't matter how it gets done. Whatever is easiest for you and bolts not getting crosstheaded or stripped :fistbump:

    The RCI steel engine skid is 40-ish. I have not uninstalled/installed too many times, but I usually install the front two bolts just tight enough they do not warp, then do middle 2 bolts. Leaves the 2 rear bolts for after the front 4 are tightened enough to keep it horizontal, then final tighten all.

    But you have the T-shirt, so I cannot argue too much.:)

    It was delivered on a cargo truck, and someone earning minimum-wage drove it on AND off. :annoyed:

    I've taken my truck apart at least for times, 2 suspension lifts, one back to stock and 1 more back to where it needs to be. I need to take it apart again and lower it. I was at 1 inch, went to 5.5, went back to stock, now sitting at around 3.5 to 4 inches if lift. It's always been a work in progress, because everyone's expectations, budget and height requirements differ. It doesn't help, when you one thing to one truck and the same thing to another truck, it's a completely different experience/animal and you spend the next 2 or 3 years chasing down the gremlins.

    Skid plates are flat heavy sheets ... cookie sheets on steroids. Whatever keeps bolts from stripping and the plate from clanging to the ground and killing your eardrums.

    Then we are equally confused:rofl::rofl:
    If bc means "because", then spell the crap out. The demographic for a Tacoma is 40 to 70.... we don't get all the acronyms of our younger brothers.:annoyed::hattip:

    I am 50 and work by myself..... I don't know any of it. Have a 14 year old and look at him like he has lost his mind often.
