I keep finding good/decent deals online at a dealer in Ohio, I think they're Toyota Direct in Columbus. They don't put ever single package or stupid dealer installed accessories. You pay MSRP and they have a good discount when you trade.

I'm considering one of those when my wife goes back to work from baby leave. I'm sure they'll mark them down as the new 4th gens come out. I'm still very interested in the 4th gen, was leaning Tundra, but is just a bit out of our price range if we want a nicer model

Are you local to them? It's about 550 miles from me.

Did you have a pretty easy process? We have a local (ish) dealer we've worked with on our Rav4, but they like to add every unnecessary accessory to Tacomas and I just don't want to pay for something I'm going to take off

Not to sure I hope they are lying but I also watched this one the other day. So for Suv there will be Corolla Cross, Rav4, Highlander, 4Runner, Small Landcruiser, Landcruiser, Sequoia

Yeah they are about 15 minutes from me. I bought 2 new vehicles (My taco and a Rav4) from them in December of '16, so a lifetime ago. I don't know how the process there is now. I do know like everyone else, their parking lot is mostly barren. They are making $$$ though as since the lot is empty, they are tripling the size of the building itself to fill the void.

I bought a base OR that had only 2 options, Tow package and chrome exhaust tip. Nothing unusual about the process at the time. Again, might be different now though.

It's also about 10 minutes from the airport if you have to fly in, easy to hop a cab or Uber.

Looks familiar. While the FT-4X concept was a bit odd looking, did have some cool features, even had a removable speaker before removable speakers were cool…

4th gen high clearance bumper on a Tundra FJ parts bin special. Toyota could electrify the power train update the lightning and wheels, and introduce that as their 2025 Toyota electric truck.

    Lol! Kinda!

Toyotas styling has mostly been awful throughout the years. Some they get it right, early Land Cruisers and Trucks. Most often they get so so wrong, went from boring humble things, now going over compensating.

We buy these things for the supposed reliability which I think has become more internet lore than reality. Other manufacturers can achieve the same, just their owners are more quiet about it. We like to get on soap boxes and beat our chests “Toyotas are reliable!” Meh, have owned them for 30 years have a very long list of repairs over those three decades. Even had a 22R engine fail at a measly 125K miles, those were supposed to be the “best”.

Buddy of mine who is senior tech sent me this from his shop. (He hates Toyotas and always giving me shit) Looks in really good shape for how many miles on it.

Figured it was a Toyota based on how dirty the cluster is!

The 2024 is the new smaller LC compared to the 300 series. I don't think they'll make another but if they do I bet it will be all electric.

Gen4 is actually a very, very handsome truck, we just don’t see it yet. Great design masterpieces need time, and this one’s in its caterpillar stage.

Sure it’s ugly now, but trust me that you’ll absolutely love the way it looks in 2049.
