    I have had stuff like this happen with FedEx and is one of the Reasons why I hate them so much. The delivery date changes with Every package I order that gets shipped with them.


    Edit: I wish you could pick who you wanted to ship with when you order stuff!

    I had a similar experience with USPS at the beginning of 2023. I order cigars from an auction site that ships from Bethlehem, PA. Usually the shipment hits my mailbox in 2 - 3 days. I have a smartphone app I track packages with. After a week, it hadn't arrived, so I fired up my tracking app. I Found USPS did something like
    Bethlehem, PA -> Knoxville, TN
    Knoxville, TN - Indianapolis, IN
    Indianapolis, IN -> Nashville, TN
    Nashville, TN -> London, KY (next town up, 15 miles away from me)
    London, TN -> Nashville, TN
    Nashville, TN -> Knoxville, TN
    Knoxville, TN -> London, KY
    London, KY -> Me

    There may have even been a couple more steps in there that I have forgotten.
