That’s exactly what I was thinking, everyone seems to agree it’s a great tire so I’m hoping they drop the price but keep selling it for a bit.

What i changed, is i no longer cross my tires in my rotations, i just keep the same two tires on the same side and switch them axle to axle, thats made a world of difference. Plus i refuse to buy anything less than an 8ply

Nice, yeah I won’t ever run anything other than E rated because I do a lot of rocky trails that are very far from home. I’ve already had 3 punctures in these E rated Grabbers but only 1 has been trail damage.

I've been running C load G.Y. Duratracs on these mountainous rocky roads since 2017. I have C load Duratracs on 3 of my trucks and E load Duratracs on 1, never a issue with Duratracs (knock on wood lol). They have been great for me on the highway & here on the mountain in all kinds of weather & road conditions.

Well Dave, just got home from first round of injections… 3 needles I believe, one to numb, and then one in each disc that’s herniated (L5 and S1). Not much relief yet. Pain went from about a 5 while walking and sitting to about a 3. Spine specialist said that recovery like this is a marathon and not a race… it’ll take time and PT and being more aware of my limitations in my day to day lifestyle. Have another follow up in two weeks to evaluate and I guess get my 2nd round of injections. I believe he said it was 3 rounds in all.

That’s good to hear! I was looking at them but they seem sooo expensive. I suppose you get what you pay for though.

I hope the shots & PT give you some relief. It was definitely a process before my insurance would pay up for the surgery. My lifestyle has definitely changed since my back pain issue & surgery. I'm pain free now but I still don't push myself like I use to. And I do my back & hamstring stretches everyday to help keep my back loose & limber. Being a auto technician for 27years, bent over a engine bay or under a dash for hours at a time for that many years is hard on the body. And I was a weight lifter for many years so that didn't help lol.

New has nothing to do with it! I’ve been on here for a few years now, still rolling mostly stock.

Resist the urge to spend money, it can be done lol

Well mostly, I blame this site for my Lomax purchase

    Hmmmmmmm interestiiing o_O

lol, yeah General Grabber ATXs. I’ve had 2 nails and one trail puncture (the one in the picture from earlier).

Preformance wise they have been good, they’re just loud AF now with ~37K on them. Legit louder than the Yokohama g003’s I used to run (when they were new).

For me, they felt super soft and would “tramline” like crazy on uneven roads.

Can you define tramline? I’ve never heard that one before. I feel like I know what you’re talking about though, when I was driving cross country they started to wander on the highway. I lowered the PSI and haven’t noticed it since then.

    :fingerscrossed:

Tram lining would be defined as when the vehicle aggressively follows the divots and dips in the road created by vehicles that have transported through prior or when the vehicle aggressively deviate from the natural crown of the road in a manner in which it pulls you to the ditch or towards oncoming traffic. Some people might just think it’s a bad alignment and not no that it could be because of the casting of the tires themselves when they were made

Oh yeah, they do that big time. I thought it was a tire pressure thing with the ones I have but maybe I’m wrong.

Don't feel bad. I had a nice set of Cooper Discoverer AT3's with only 5k on them when I traded in my 2021 Tacoma for my 2022. Now I'm back to the sub par Goodyear's... :annoyed:

    Casting of the tire.

Coopers are notorious for pulling hard left or hard right depending on which way you have them mounted, super weird
