You can make some basic parts on send cut send for stuff you’d need a lathe or a bandsaw / plasma for on their website.

These are some spacers I made for my inner and outer bushing sleeves on my LCA’s on their website.

You could use pvc if you’re worried about not getting it right the first time with tube. @SilverGhost did most of his tube work that way iirc.

I forget who it was that suggested that way back but yeah that's a great idea.

It's 10" x 19" as downloaded. Perfect size for a garage wall hanger.

No .dxf file, but .nc worked fine on my machine.

Just search "flag" and you'll see it.

    Nice

I remember downloading one NC file and my view showed me just how big it was (bigger than my table).

I could've scaled down in Firecontrol but opted not to bother because I didn't know how much of the smaller details I'd lose due to linking constraints so I'd rather see a file in DXF.

Thanks for the heads up on the size for that one though, I'll grab it later.

    @Off Topic Guy

How should I make this next stand for the throttle? Just arrived and I have barely enough wood...need to remove the side legs and run bolts through the bottom of the wood to mount to the base bottom.

What happens if you rotate the controller 90*? So what if the grain is perpendicular to what you have shown.

If that works, I'd screw the whole assembly to a larger piece of decent plywood for more stability.

As said above, I gots no clue wtf its used for

Did you guys not see the other stand I posted just recently :luvya:

Flight simulator controller; specifically a throttle

And no, rotating it 90 will look ugly in relation to the grain not to mention overhang

The way it is in the picture, only the removable legs are overhanging

Time to pony up some coin for some wood that will work then.

Head on over to the wood working thread. I bet them cats' got what you need sitting next to the campfire pit.

Do you need to have wood at all? Could you use those bolts on the sides to solid mount it to a stand? I think a telescoping / height adjustable stand would be cool for maintaining a comfortable position.

No no it'll work, I'll just be forced to use the mounting underneath the throttle through the wood. Just something I initially didn't want to do.

This walnut actually came from a member in the wood working thread!

@wilcam47 hooked it up with some quality pieces.

I may have to barter more and keep wood working outside my own shop.

I don't, just doing it for the 'because I can' factor

Plus it looks aesthetically pleasing to me, even if it looks silly to others :anonymous:

If I did ask for another piece, I'd say 8 3/4" x 11 3/4" would be perfect (this gives room outside the already mounted feet)

Have to say the stuff on there look like pieces you'd see at a specialty shop :spending:

On a crappy note, my table kept getting a stupid error message so I decided not to cut today. Just packaged up some parts for shipping.

I can use the piece I have left over so minimal effort if you do look!

I freaking love the way the stain came out while the grain remained visible

You want to glue it on or a solid piece?
