The 4runners i’ve run have all had General Grabber AT2s or Falken Wildpeak AT3ws

The Grabbers are really the only thing I’ve had on this truck since the stock Toyo’s. I had Yoko g003’s for a brief period of time but I got rid of them pretty quickly because 285 mud terrains were too big for my driving style. The amount of options out there is paralyzing haha

 

The coopers did everything well and i loved them but they wore the fastest and cost the most. The mud terrains were just stupid. The hankooks were by far the worst. Hideous at everything. The firestones were meh…split a sidewall on a pot hole so i got rid of them very fast. So far the falkens have treated me the best

 

All I've ever known are KO2s. How do they compare to all y'alls mighty tire experience?

 

Yeah I realized that although I want a mud terrain, it’s not the smartest for how much I drive. The Wildpeak RT is appealing so that’s another contender.

lol @Scrovak I have almost no tire experience. I just spend way too much of my days reading about tire stuff. I’m not sure why but here I am haha


I don’t have any experience at all with the K02’s. I do know the K03 is about to hit the shelves though.

 

I guess I gotta hit the trails hard enough to burn down my KO2s to convince the ol' lady we need KO3s. I base this entirely on the following research and mathematical rigor:

sure did. The storm was shaking the house through most of the storm. “Luckily” my dog is deaf and had no idea it was storming so she was pretty calm.

Not sure we had one. Looks like we got a little rain, but most of the noise missed us I think. Unless I was really tired and slept through it all, which is possible.

I saw this old cabin while out for a ride this morning. I bet this ole place has some stories to tell. Old well windlass for lowering & raising the well bucket is still there along with the outhouse.
