    Same for us.

Garbage disposal replaced, new fridge on its way, dryer is taking longer to finish a load...

When was the last time you cleaned all the lint out of the dryer?

Now you’re talking! It’d be great not to have to depend on any neighbors

Try this link. It might be helpful. It might be useless. It might be depressing?

I'm not dumb enough to be trying to take pictures of anything they've got. They wont even acknowledge what they are to me, which is fine, they dont have to. We help process every foreign and domestic payload in this one facility. X's own payloads we get to see but its obviously from a different budget. Their technicians, their bo-bo air setup, etc....

If you look hard enough on LinkedIn, I'm sure one of X's Mission Managers will post a picture of them processing Starlinks, somebody else can be your huckleberry there. There's not much to see, they look like origami to most...

I had Hughes satellite when I first bought my place (pre starlink). It was adequate for slow internet searches, useless for just about everything else, especially streaming the buffering was horrible. I preferred driving an hour+ to work through traffic than trying to work from home. Hot spotting from my phone was often faster. As soon as my contract with them was up I started checking and found that DTC Comm had run fiber down my road the year before. What an upgrade that was, I went from maybe 20-30mbs downloads to 600+mbs downloads.

My wife loves me because, four years ago, I mounted a small shop vac in the laundry room, put the hose on a bungee tether, so now when a load of clothes is dry, she just sucks the lint out of the trap! Next time I empty the shop vac I will take a pic. The lint makes a thin coating over the existing lint. This does not sound like much but, when she washes red and brights, the lint is that color! When she washed darks, the same for the lint. So what you get is a beautiful, striped big old ball of lint lol. She likes it because no dust is generated.

Anybody ever order something from Amazon, cancel it a few hours later, get an email saying it's been canceled then receive the item several days later and get no response from the company after sending them an email asking how to return it?

I don't know what to do with it, it's a $693 hydraulic pump

    It's been two weeks

I've looked down the vent pipe from both the dryer side and outside and there's nothing of note. Shoving the shop vac in there didn't get anything out, either. The entire run is less than 10 feet and should only have one 90° elbow in it. The flex pipe from the dryer to the wall was replaced, too. That obviously only leaves the dryer itself but I haven't taken it apart to investigate it yet.

On a different note, my dad stuck our dryer vent through the floor. That was it. When you went under the house there was lint everywhere. He eventually ran it out of the house several years later.

You would have thought with him being a professional firefighter he wouldn't have done that but then again I wouldn't have thought he would have done half the other stupid stuff he did either :muscleflexing:
