All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
A strap or cord that keeps the device from falling completely off the bike.

The best part is watching your buddies eyes light up as you pass him with a big bike on single track.
My 1190r had a wicked ability to roost people from like 25 yds away. That thing would send mud flying.
Getting into single track on a big bike requires a lot of patience. It’s a lot of tight technical this and that; balancing at a stand still and moreover keeping momentum. Time to break out the orange cones!
Keep riding on trails that begin to narrow down, and you will get the hang of it.
At first you may dump the bike a few times, downhills can be hair raising on a big bike, just be easy with that front brake or have ABS On for the front wheel only. That can help you get the feel for things, without locking up the front tire.

Momentum is key. Stalling on a bike big in a sticky situation can be exhausting, but that is what makes you a better rider. Being pushed to your limits, without putting yourself in harms way. Go with your gut, and don’t over do it at first.

I use a quad lock mount with the anti-vibration mount and wireless charger. Pretty nice to never worry about using my phone as a GPS and draining the battery. I don’t do single track at all with this bike but it’s been on some pretty rough dirt/gravel/rock single lane mountain roads and not failed me yet.

The wireless charger really is clutch because I used to keep destroying charging cables when I would hit the phone on the old setup.

Great, now you've all got me looking at USB chargers for my bike. I can't go wireless but will get a USB port on there somehow. I might actually have one sitting in my garage.

I picked this up from Amazon, it's nice to have the voltmeter on there.

I have one by battery tender, but a lot of companies make them, that just goes onto the end of the SAE cable coming straight off my battery.

I think I have a similar one somewhere in the garage, but I’ll probably do the same thing you did.

Is yours wired to a switched source or straight to battery?

I would do that but my SAE cable is near my rear suspension so routing the USB charger would be a pain.

It's plugged into factory wiring. Bike had option for 12vdc outlet, for the unreasonable price of $110.00. So I opted for this instead as most stuff is running off USB anyway. Had to buy the relay for the bike to make it work with the ignition. So it's off when the key is off and turns on with the ignition.

Well everything went good at the dealer today. YES I rode the monkey. Had half the dealership out checking it out. Anyway I bought the 2013 Tacoma prerunner trd offroad with v6 auto and 94000 miles. They were at $ 22,700 OTD and after doing a complete inspection and test drive (which was real good) I gave an offer of $20,500 total OTD tax title license. They said yes with no negotiation. It came out to be $20,489 . I am happy. Now I need to get rid of the canopy . Install my bed cover and Clazzio leather seat covers and I will be good. Oh it does need tires. I will be getting Michelin defender tires. On my way to pick it up now.
