That aint to bad. And yes glad it was in the garage! Love that blue too.

And my comment was from a camp trip that was done a few years back. And around like 5 am a tree fell in the middle of camp squashing 2 trucks. Well Brain was sleeping right behind his truck and almost got smashed by the tree. There are some photos floating around here somewhere. I will see if i can find them.

Monsoon usually happens towards evening. During the day the sun keeps the air hot enough but as sun goes away the clouds can form.

Small warning, if you have not heard it ... much sun here, especially from what can be utterly cloudless sky. One explanation I have heard for AZ not changing with national time-change is that AZ has enough GD sun already and having daylight until 10 PM (if we shifted) would be maddening.

Falcon field got absolutely destroyed the other night. Our airplane made it through ok, but it ripped the tie down ring off of the right wing. The plane got moved, but didn't hit anything. Others weren't so lucky.

According to the local news, one of the first priorities of the Falcon field staff was to replace fencing because the perimeter was open. Buildings were opened to the elements (sides, roofs). But they are trying to maintain at least minimal operations.

Yeah, power went out, so the electronic key card gates wouldn't open. Someone rammed one open to get out, since they were trapped inside. There were a bunch of trees that took out the fence, and a hangar door landed on the fence in one part and took it out.

I'm SE of Falcon Field about a mile away. That shit was crazy. Even more so when watching the news as they were showing tow trucks or something similar flipping the planes right side up. The one hanger you showed in your photos had the roof, and every side ripped off. Heard there was a number of insurance adjusters out there yesterday assessing the damage.

I've never been in a Microburst before, but watching the trees in my backyard literally twisting, and the branches bending in ways you didn't think could happen was freaky enough. Microbust winds can be as fast as an EF-1 Tornado.

Saturday will consist of cleaning shit up and cutting down branches from several trees in the backyard.

The only thing I can afford is the skydive lift ticket to jump out of planes.
