I have pondered building a mini trailer for the Super tenere to tow the wr450! Best of both worlds!

 

I used to rock pilot power 2ct up front and a pilot road in the back on the 919, sliding was very predictable with the road in the back and wear life was pretty even with the soft front (~5k miles per set)

 

Fuck yeah! Jealous.. dude that 4runner in the old color stripe scheme is badass. I have a rc crawler like that.

Oh boy, I'm kind of tempted to see if the Versys could pull a trailer and bike now that I've stuck a cap on my truck.

 

I got to figure out if my KTM 500 is running to lean or rich. Shit is popping like hell on decel. I mean you see birds fly out of trees yall!
I have read the major popping is 60% caused by the EVAP purge solenoid and EVAP canister system, and the other 40% caused by the SAS valve (secondary air system). I am not 100 percent but I believe I did this already on this bike when I remapped it and put a new van on it.

Holy Hell the pop is real!

Would you rig the WR450 up for duty as well, so you can swap bikes if you hit really bad weather/dirt? lol

I encourage trying different combos for both front and back. It’s all about preference and moreover what you’re comfortable with life span wise. I use them up until they are toast! I don’t even care if they cup…I just wear them all down. Only do I buy a freshly for a race!
