Absolutely, I asked that because I’m not a fan of assumptions. And to me it was more than clear what was the true cause of the mishap due to the ride height.
OP’s unfortunate experience it’s a learning experience for the new fellaz down the road.

    Nope - I do not recall that one...Mach 5.jpg

Function #A: Hydraulic auto jacks that can lift the car for mechanical repairs, and also launch it into the air when racing for overhead overtakes on the race track.

Function #B: Belt tires that sprout special grip, offering excellent traction on all surfaces including asphalt, ice, vertical mountain sides, and even the ocean floor.

Function #C: Cutting blades that protrude from the front of the car, cutting down trees and other obstacles.

Function #D: A powerful deflector that seals the cockpit. It’s waterproof, bulletproof, and air-conditioned, and it filters outside air to protect against sleeping gas.

Function #E: Special illumination technology called Evening Eye, it’s essentially a very high-powered headlight with night vision, allowing Speed Racer to see clearly far further than would otherwise be possible.

Function #F: This is an underwater capability, with a supply of oxygen for the cockpit and a periscope rising above the surface of the water.

Function G: In this case “G” stands for “Gizmo”, a homing pigeon robot that was a prescient prediction of modern drones. The pigeon can be used to send messages and small items to allies.

^ These are the available functions (Well, at least on the PRO) :D

Yeah, my gen 2.5 has one. I guess i didn't realize they took that away for 3rd gens? That's lame. Would have saved OP thousands of dollars.

Guess it's only for us 2nd gen owners. IDK why they would take that away, i just assumed 3rd gens had the button as well.

This is helpful. So what is the solution to allowing more droop?

WELCOME TO THE CLUB ANDY!!!!:rofl::rofl::thumbsup:

Shit happens man. USAA covered one of my flops back when I was on small tires. I let my 110 lbs dog out about 100 yds before I ate this big bowl of dumbass. However, I couldn't put my seatbelt back on, and I still had a 65 lb dog inside the cab that conveniently landed on top of me after I smashed on the passenger door/glass/rocks.

Two things happened. No more dogs in the cab and harnesses went in ASAP.

If you off-road enough and take chances...it will happen again. Trust me....:anonymous:

I have the same set up 5100’s with 885 springs. The only difference is that I never wanted lift. I wanted droop and therefore my clip is at the bottom. Gained about 1.5” in the front but my droop is increased. I don’t run a sway bar and the ride is nice at any speed and nothing binds. Droop is what you want for proper trail/off road use. If you want ground clearance then keep it max at 2” and toss skinny 35”s and do a proper alignment. Obviously, gearing will be required after increasing tire size. Trimming of plastics and possible BMC is going to be needed.

check the videos of the homie Kai so you get a little more information on how the prado platform(prado,tacoma,4runner,gx models) works

On the road feels a little firm in comparison to the yellow bilsteins that are about 1.5” and 5100 are about 2” therefore there more gas/oil therefore better heat dissipation. As well the amount of weight you carry is a huge variant.

Good on you for getting your truck dirty, as well as posting. Bummer about the roll, but it happens! Glad you're safe. I'm thinking check all your fluids, and then take out the plugs and turn it over a bunch of times.

That button just reduces the sensitivity of the curtain airbags. On 3rd gens it's automatic (tied to 4low or something).

Drastically different in terms of electronics but I flopped my '99 dumbassing in a pasture. Got it pulled back upright, let it sit overnight, fired it up next day. Was good to go.
