Don't mean to be ghosting you guys... Been working weird hours and my sister just bought a house so I've been over there a lot. Hoping she's not in over her head, or finds a handy boyfriend soon.

Anyway, figured I pop in and catch up a bit and mention that I'm really hoping to make it to Pat's this weekend to see some of you and float some wheel/tire questions around, but chances of me making it are looking kinda slim.

I also do not have the Bayfield trip on my calendar at the moment. Not because I don't want to go (would love another camping weekend!), but because I just have so much other stuff going on after an August where I took a lot of vacation days. If the situation changes somehow, I'll definitely let you know and get in on the planning.

The answer to your tire questions is: 35's! You can trust me...

    Hoping you can make it!

I plan on coming up Thursday through Saturday and doing the trail ride on Friday. I like the idea of bringing the kayak, since I've only had it out once this summer. If the weather looks decent I'll bring mine.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as @rubbersidedown. She also wanted a hotel/airbnb. I found a good one by East Twin but her schedule has been screwed. No one has the decency to put in their two weeks anymore I guess :annoyed:

Really tempted to try and convince her that staying behind with our two year old would really benefit her and not me.......

I am all caught up on TW and should still be making it to Pat's this weekend at least. Looking forward to it!

The wife and I will be there for Saturday Fun coming up Friday and we are staying in Ironwood, MI. Not sure we will be able to meet up on Friday. This will depend on when we arrive. Please let me know when and where we are starting on Saturday morning. I have been traveling on average 3-4 weeks a month with weekends off so this will be a fun travel and not work travel. Oh, and I did mark the poll for Saturday.

So, for the Bayfield trip, it looks like we have some meals planned for back at camp. I'm still open to the option of going to Bayfield one night for dinner and maybe take a walk through the Apple festival. I'm not sure which night works best for this. Also, I'm aware it's a little bit of a longer drive from East Twin. But, this crew seems to enjoy driving anyway.

    Thoughts?

We should be done early enough Friday to make an easy late afternoon/evening of it. Thinking Saturday will finish up by 3-4 depending on when we get out in the morning so that will work as well. The schedule is flexible...

Nice! Based on the itinerary, it sounds like Friday is more likely to get a little behind schedule. Maybe Saturday would be the day to go to the festival. Either way, I am super looking forward to getting stuck on Friday, and going back to Mount Whittlesey on Saturday!

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I wouldn't mind heading into town one evening for a while...what the hell, we're already up there, may as well. Someone could ride along if they don't want to drive, I have a spare seat.

I'll be there Thursday afternoon. Bringing eggs, bacon and a snack to share. If we go out to eat, that's great. If not that's ok too.

You realize he has a super charger. If you're payin' for gas, he's gonna use it.

EDIT: I forgot he's in Arizona now. Duh!

I’m cool with going into town one night. Just somebody remind me to bring cash since I left it back at camp
    Last year. (Sigh)
(Edit) Is there anything special I should look to bring up? I'm certainly willing to bring ingredients for meals or snack for afterwards.

Also I did get some new stickers just in time for mod day!
