I have a 2015 Tacoma TRD Super White 040 which the paint is fading on the roof and the hood. I just had the left rear passenger door painted because the paint was peeling. Does anyone know if Toyota is paying to have these problems fixed?

Super white doesn’t have a clear coat right?

you could detail the paint as best you could then slap some PPF over it, that would pretty much ‘lock’ your paint in however it looks at the time. Just did this to my MGM colored hood and roof. Looks great, but I also caught the deterioration early. I understand super white has its own unique issues of flaking and what not, but just a thought.

My roof, bumper, bottom trim and hood are bedlinered. Durakote comes in white and it is TOUGH

Generally not paying. Some approved case by case.

040 is not the only color with peel.

    209
    84P
    8P1
    202
    8T5
    8S6

All have similar issues with peel though not as frequently.
