Good morning Shane and crew. Have a great Friday!

Master cylinder update time, after the last BS from the dealership , I decided to not even mess with the dealership I was referred to by purchasing dealer. I called Toyota corporate direct and filed a complaint with them. The customer service rep was very thorough, she read back my complaint verbatim after I gave it to her. She was also the first person to ask me what I wanted to happen to resolve this problem. I of course, told her Toyota needs to replace the master cylinder at their cost. She gave me the case number and told me she was elevating this to the higher level and I should expect a call by Monday. Let’s see what happens next.

I do know for a fact, that if you go in with guns, blazing, they just shut you right off. They will work with you.

I was very polite with the girl, just firm with my complaint that there was no reason for the MC to fail at this low mileage and I knew about the previous MC recall on the base models for machining errors. I told her I was willing to work with them on resolution within reason but I felt the cost of the MC should be on them.

Saw my cousin who is a logger pulling into a job the other day so I called him and ask how to get some firewood, he said you got some standards for your gooseneck? I said no but I can, he said pull in and we’ll load you up. Yes sir!
