7k is probably high. It's likely closer to 6500, but
that's fully loaded, 32g fuel, water, rtt, fridge, food, dog, 2 people, cage, 40s, camping gear, winch, bikes if I can make it work, spare tire, etc etc. In the past fully loaded I'd be around 5800, and that's without the cage or spare, and just the stock fuel tank. So we shall see!

that the solo kit? You might have space, but I would check first only need 3/8 a side really so not a ton.

Why don’t you just build an off-road trailer so you can leave all that chit at camp

I live in a strict HOA and in a house that doesn’t conceal a generator and welder well

    And
Selling off parts even brand new mint parts is a huge pain right now

Guess that depends on your definition of what tube chassis is. In the race truck world this would be a frame rail truck.

I’m not sure how far under the cab he will cut off for the trailing arms and back half to begin but I think center mount suspension is out of my price range based on the parts my builder prefers to use

and I’m sure 55’s will change how a DBSB behaves in the rear too
Cause I think those DD links would have kept things very predictable while also outta the cab

4x4 center mount is ridiculously expensive on a Tacoma build. Having the 4x4 xlt kit's 18-19" of travel will work good if each other part of the truck is set up to work well.
