    Hello, turd gen owners :boink:

I ordered a TRD Pro grille from NP Motorsports.

If you care to know, I purchased this grille because, in winter, there is thick fog where I live. I noticed that drivers with raptor lights are easy to spot in foggy, wintry weather. I think raptor lights are, despite what people say, a cheap and compact way of sticking out and staying safe on the road in poor visibility conditions. My KC HiLites Flex Era 3's can by contrast be overkill in certain situations. I agree that raptor lights are a little cringe but that is OK with me.

Anyway, the grille arrived in the mail today. It did not include a nameplate so now I must find one. I just ordered the Pro Grille Insert from Taco Vinyl, and I selected the custom color schema. I will share photos once it is installed. I think you will like what I chose

A few (admittedly ignorant) questions for you:

    - Did I choose the right size / year nameplate insert? It looks like there might be subtle differences between years.

    - Crucially, does anyone know (or can you recommend) what size screws secure the nameplate to the grille? I don't want to damage the plastic, and it would be nice not to lug the grille into Home Depot just to find a few screws . . .

    Thanks in advance, fellas.

Be sure to also post in the 1st Gen forum. You might get a better response.

I considered that but I doubt the first gen crowd will be able to answer my questions. If this thread yields nothing then I will try that but my gut says you guys will know more. If nothing else, it's cool to visit your neck of the woods for a change.
