when your the sales leader even a small percentage is a very larger number of trucks. it was worth their time to build it.

I'm happy that they sell the access cab manual in Canada. If they didn't, I'm not too sure what I'd be driving now. I wanted two things, manual and access cab. Other than that I really don't care for all the gimmicks. The Tacoma was the only real option. If I couldn't get either manual or access cab I'd more than likely be driving a Chevy again.

 

That ends after this model year too.

 

Super disappointed. Don’t understand the logic of these decisions. AC with the manual is a heritage Toyota truck configuration. Toyota went the whole 2nd and 3rd Gen phase with AC manuals and now you can’t. I don’t even want to talk about the ExtraCab decision.

 

It looks like manual will be double cab only, but they are also doing away with the Access Cab too.

 

Comes down to some manual hating bean counters that just have to pinch the pennies...

And yeah the screwed the pooch with that fake access cab. There is no access to the back part of the cab...even if the seat flipped out and turned into a set of steps. They will drop that truck mid life cycle change. Bean counters win again!
