Just got some a week ago. 5'7" and I think the seating position is more comfortable with them. However, had to scoot the seat forward more than I'm used to so that I can fully press my clutch pedal down with these installed. Now my leg pinches between the steering wheel and seat getting in and out. Have to be careful not to nick my wheel with my knife clip. Really wish the steering wheel raised up higher.

It really depends. Work well for some but not others. The two in the front work well for me. I don't have them on the passengers seat and when my son drives me I notice a difference.

Why not just try them? Not super expensive and if they don't work for you I am sure you can recover 50% + of your cost in the classifieds here. I would buy them from you for my passengers seat if you dont want them.

Posted this somewhere else, but I'll post it again here. Ours has the electric driver's seat so I'm plenty comfy, but the wife complained about the passenger seat right away, saying it was "just not that comfortable" even on short trips. (She's about 5'7") We came from a 2nd Gen Tundra which road like a Barcalounger and we were a bit spoiled. So I bought and installed a set of Desert Does It front Seat Jackers. She said it was worse. :( Bought a set of their rear seat jackers and ta-dah... she likes it, she really likes it! :D

As others have said, it depends. Thinking back I should have just popped the bolts out and tried putting something under the front and/or back to see which worked better.

I'm 6'1 and 250. Before shelling the bucks out for an overpriced spacer, I used a 1" aluminum spacer I had & bought 2 longer bolts. The seat hits me in back of my legs & causes cramps. So, I removed them & all is well.
What I don't get are those installing front & rear spacers. What did you gain, all you did was rase the whole seat up.

I think for tall people they are probably great… but for us who are vertically challenged, not so much. I put them on the front and my legs were basically touching the steering wheel. Oh well..

Alu-cab canopy and rear jumpseat delete.
I am 5'11" and I have them just in the front. Without them I keep sliding off the front. Creates a bucket like seat.

I installed fronts only today and have only driven 3 short trips but they initially seem more comfortable than without them. I am 5'8" and 235 lbs. I will know better after a few more drives!

I have front and backs on both front seats. It made a huge difference for my lower back. Electric controls were not quite enough by themselves for me to get the tilt angle right. With the jackers I use them to fine tune the position.

5' 10. I just raised the back with a 1-inch steel spacer and a longer high strength bolt. I found lifting the front uncomfortable on the back of my legs with the pedal reach. But every body is different. If the seat jackers work for you though, go for it. I think we all pretty much agree that the stock position is way too low.

Regardless of comfort, you really should have your hips above your knees for proper seating posture. It might take getting used to, but I promise your back will thank you.

Your back hurts because your hips are turnt.

Absolutely worth it. I have 2019 TRD Pro so no power seat and I am 5'7". I have front and then 1/2 in rear and definitely more comfortable and can see over my hood scoop better off road. I have just the front on the passenger side and both my husband and I agree it made the seat a ton better for long trips.

They take a few days to get used to, but honestly I forgot I installed them and now the seats are really comfortable.

I would’ve actually like to lower the rear of the seat versus raising the front of the seat up because I’m staring at where the headliner meets the windshield most of the time, and ergonomically, I would like to be standing at the top third of the windshield.

No, just no to everything you just said.

Don’t make the seat fit the body, contort the human body until it fits the chair. We might not get very far as a species with that thinking.

I tried 'em. I did think they were a little pricey for what they are. I didn't expect very much difference, let alone improvement, from the stock seating position. I was nervous about any disassembly of the power seat.

Been a week now, and I can confirm that I was wrong on all counts. There were no issues whatsoever with the power seat mechanics, the install was super simple and quick, and the improvement in comfort is immediate and more significant than I could have imagined. And all that make these absolutely worth the hundo they charge. The hype is legit. 10/10.
