Are these original wiper blades?

The truck needed new blades so I went with Rain-X, for now. I’d like to confirm if the blade housings I have are original. If so, I’ll buy inserts. I could not find a brand stamp on them anywhere. Thoughts appreciated. Pictures below.

 

Did you by the blades at your Toyota Dealer in person or online?

That would be the only way to know for sure.

A Truck this old I think they might have been changed at least once.

 

These were on the truck when I purchased it earlier this year. I agree with you, probably changed out but not finding a brand name has me curious.

 

Nope not orginal. Alot of wipers don't have brand stamping. Probably napa wipers.

 

What makes you know there not original or OEM?

 

I am all for OEM parts, but wipers are really not one of those things where you need to worry...

 

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the oem wipers were inserts. If you have the insert style they are definitely work keeping.

 

Yea. These look like inserts. I do see the metal banding on the wiper.

 

... All wiper blades have metal banding. I pull them out any time I change them. The metal is spring metal and makes great lock picks or other little tools.
