No, neighbors both left this morning. Don’t even need to deploy Operation MermAndy!

somebody moved my coffee drinking log and now I have nowhere to sit on the lake shore while I drink my coffee! It’s a travesty!

New camper just pulled in. Guy gets out of the truck and surveys the site. Gets back in and two kids about kindergarten age get out. They start babbling directions for him as he backs in. Not sure if he didn’t need the help or they’re that good at helping out but he’s in on the first try

Hit about 72 here today. It was very comfortable. I spent a few hours out on the deck after walking the dog.

Trying to get ready for the winter but it's still a little too warm to not have shade to work in. So I'm good until about 1000 then I won't have shade again until about 3...usually a great window for a nap. I did get to mow the dog poop before it got too warm.

Dumb question: is it common to have grass where you are? Does it grow naturally or is it man laid, like they do in Vegas?

It's planted. There are grasses native to the desert but this is from Home Depot. It's really a pain in the ass because we have lot a lot of windy days and the wild seed blows in with it so I have a lot of weeds.
