Had a rainy day after two weeks of replacing this shit-assed roof and made some doo-dads. Happy little trees.

 

What kind of CNC setup you got?

 

Using a laser engraver.

Yeah I know…. That stupid wood grain though!

 

They could be better…. But the wife lost interest, then temps and humidity set in, then I just wanted them out of the garage!

A big plus is that you saved them!! I love it when things are given a new life and appreciation.

 

Today is a little shop cleaning project.
Happiness is an empty scrap box.

Three trips up the stairs. And there's wood in the outside box to dispose of too.

Now I'm just chilling with a glass of iced tea and pretending to be camping in my backyard, lol.

 

This shelf needed 2x4s purchased (small surprise). Shockingly, when I was scavenging HOPING to have a few flat boards for the 3 levels of shelves, I discovered enough boards to layer-to-thickness and creatively arrange to cover all sections. Damn we can be packrats!

Dusted this cutting board off and gave it a fresh coat of Walrus Oil.

It's hard to see in the photo, but it's made from a center strip of Cherry, then Maple then alternating Padauk and Purpleheart and the outside is Walnut.

Ended up just giving it away to one of the Party Garage people.
