@Taco1004 I hope you get some relief soon. My L5/S1 and L4/5 are herniated from years of abuse working construction and commercial HVAC when I was younger. That pain and the spasms suck and the continual discomfort it can cause in your legs will drive you nuts. The first time I did the injections was about 15 years ago. I saw a neurosurgeon at UMMC downtown and was ready for surgery as nothing was helping. The man was amazing. He spent two hours with me as a consultation, went over my history, physical exam, explained everything in my MRIs in very granular detail to ensure I knew exactly what they showed, how surgery would work, etc. Told me would told me he'd do the surgery if 3 rounds of injections didn't help and I needed to get a 4th. It took 3 of the 4 rounds to get relief, which lasted almost a year and a half. I went back for more, got three rounds that lasted a year. Went back for more, got two rounds that lasted 4 months. At that time I reached out to the surgeon again as I'd had enough. He had retired by then and was only teaching. It had taken me so long to find someone that I found confidence in from a surgical perspective (and whose immediate approach was not fusion) that I stopped trying after that. Just started taking it easy and watching how I treat ny back. Every once in a while one of them flares up. Sometimes all I have to do is reach for something the wrong way and its like someone drove a spike in my spine. For now when that happens a round or two of oral steroids and some Flexeril has been keeping it in check. I can usually tell when I need to take it easy for a few weeks. Do what you can to keep your core strong, and take it easy on it. It goes a long way.

BTW, passed you in Snyderburg this morning but didn't realize it was you til I caught the bed decals as you passed. My head was lost in the Buffett tunes.

Yep, that’s the feeling… and most people that I have heard from and that have also experienced these issues, like @$500TRD , have all had mostly the same experiences as well. Seems like I am headed down the road that you all have traveled. I’m doing all I can to take it easy, but also trying to get back in the seat asap. Sitting around for a few days was nice… starting to push the 3 week mark now and am going absolutely nuts with not being able to contribute much around here.

I thought that was you… not too many neon solar Tacos running around. I waved, but wasn’t sure if you’d seen me. Truck looks beautiful as always sir!

Was able to get out for a little this afternoon. Me and a buddy of mine took our boys down to the orchard and hit the ponds for some sundown fishing. Ripped about a dozen between us in about 2 hours. Not bad for a quick ride on the Mule through the woods…

    Mornin' everyone...

I'm trying to put an offer on a place in perryville - it's the first house I like most-everything about (100+yrs old, closed floor plan (many old homes get "remodelled" by someone destroying all the walls on the main floor), hopefully haunted, couple methods to heat (pellet stove + gas), larger yard) and it's NOT outrageously priced. Wish me luck!

Good luck! Back in about 2005ish my uncle bought a similar house in the Perryville area of Cecil Co. Big ole 100yo farmhouse with a separate smaller house on the back of the property. No neighbors in sight, rumbling brook directly across the little one lane blacktop road in front of the house. He absolutely loved it, never saw him so happy. My aunt was always a city girl so she hated it. After 2 years she made him sell it and they moved back to a Baltimore city rowhome. Til the day he died I never again saw him as happy as he was while living in that old house up in Cecil co.

I like the theory that it never rains underwater…

Plus, sometimes I feel the bite is better. Rain knocks down bugs and whatever outa the trees and I feel like it throws them into a feeding frenzy!

I have a *like new* OEM Toyota hard tri-fold tonneau cover. It was mounted for all of a couple months (4 max) for a shortbed. If interested, feel free to message me.

Currently being stored in my basement and with my CBI setup, I’ll probably never use it again. Will sell for fair price.

…or if anyone else is interested in it, feel free to hit me up. I keep meaning to post it in the classifieds, but here we are!

Living in smaller towns; living in the country; or living remote offers a certain freedom that living in the city can never replicate. I'd prefer real land - twenty or thirty acres - but this is a good-sized lot; and charming as heck. It'll do just fine if we can work it out

Best of luck! I think that Perryville is a neat area, there's a few nice State Parks, Harve D' Grace is just across the river. There's some nice rural areas north, nice scenic drives.

indeed. We looked at another old home in HDG. $230k higher asking, 800sq ft less space, but had some details that were better. In the end wasnt worth the price difference for us.
