Blind Spot Monitor

Does anyone know if the Lane Departure Alert Buzzer can be hooked to the Blind Spot Monitor.
2023 TRD Sport.
I need all the help I can get.

 

Do you want it to beep every time someone comes into your blind spot?

 

I went with Spotter Mirror. Tt does not beep but has a built in adjustable blind spot mirror that helps me a lot.

 

I turned off LDA. If I cannot pay enough attention to those funny white/yellow lines my tax dollars paid for, I should not be driving.

The BSMS has its own buzzer. Check the Head Unit for the volume settings.

 

As to BSM being an integral part of the OP driving needs, as may be the point of the thread, I try t be aware of traffic around me at all times. If packed roads ... always look around ... cycle through both outside mirrors, internal mirror, turning my head and using my peripheral vision to detect motion. If mostly empty roads ... be aware of when vehicles are buzzing around like drunk flies and when those same vehicles seem to have "disappeared".

Police will not accept "BSM did not tell me about the car in my blind spot!".

 

The BSM just flashes when you hit the turn signal to change lanes, If someone is in your blind spot. Its hard to see on a bright day. I would like it to beep when it flashes.

 

An added buzzer with volume control would do...use the juice to led as signal to activate buzzer. Buzzer pcb should have own fused power.
