Hello, I'm Rikki and I live in So.Cal by way of Harrisburg, PA.

This is my first Taco! My other ride is a Raptor Bronco, which I just tipped on its side! :-(
    (and I have multiple motorcycles!)

I was on the fence about the Ford Ranger vs the Taco and went Taco.
Only caveat so far is the seats aren't so comfy. Besides that, very happy!!!

I have a 3,700 pound travel trailer that I will pull with this from time to time. Bronco only does 4,500 and that is too close for comfort. Plus, I just really needed a get around, capable pick up for the kids and I with camping, bicycles, dirt bikes, etc.

    Here she is...

Welcome, and we're going to need to see pics of a Raptor Bronco in its side. I'd like to hear that story.

Yep! Downhill with front lockers. That’s a “no!”

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Welcome…and that sucks about the Bronco. Still looks badass, even on its side.

So your lockers caused you some issues going down that slope. What the hell happened?

Did you have a sharp turn you needed to make and you got bound up?

Wow, do you even deal with insurance on something like that or just call it road rash on a $100+k rig or what?! You can tip over a few of your new truck for the cost of that oops. dang

Huge ditch on the right. Ya gotta do wheel ballet over the ditch and a small birm. Oddly, not much damage. Fender, quarter panel scratched and a cracked roof panel. Nothing mechanical.

The ata good to hear that it was scuffs…sucks about the roof, but at least it comes in panels and that it’s not a solid roof!

Glad no one was injured. I have seen some simple flops go very bad. Even my buddy who wheels all the time got the tip of his finger pinched off between a boulder and his roll cage.

Welcome. I too find the seating a little uncomfortable on longer trips. Some people use the Desert Does It Seat Jackers. Which is a spacer put under the front seat mount to tilt the seat back some.
