Thanks to all who came out for the mod party!

Had a good time working on our vehicles and getting some help with removing a bunch of trim parts on the land cruiser. Ended the night with pizza, beer, even some ice cream.

Thankful to have had Toyota Master Tech, Scott @wi_taco, on the scene to assist for a bit.

    That's and enticing offer :dancingbacon:

I really did underestimate how easy the install would be. Firewall was fun as always

Ok, I played the guilt card for missing out on Bayfield and have secured Tigerton next weekend. Just working out the details on wether we're bringing the little one and possibly my wife's friend. In either case we don't want to intrude so we'll be getting site 61. Can't remember if that's the giant one or not. If it is anyone can feel free to crash there. Most likely rolling in Friday night as work has been hectic. Super excited though!

Thanks for hosting and glad I could help break in your shiny new tools! Remember fellas 1/4” is all you need! Proof of Rich & Cisco putting in work today, only photo I got:

    IMG_6088.jpg

Wish I could have stayed longer but other obligations were calling. Got to see my sister, had a pretzel burger at the Nitty Gritty, and saw a face-melting show by Coheed & Cambria.

Currently waiting to escape the 5th level of the parking garage so I have plenty of time to post on TW.

Shhhhhh don’t give away my secrets. The other voices in my head will get jealous.

Heck yeah see you there! I stayed on 61 last time with Brian (doc something I swear I can never remember his username and I have no idea why). It’s a pretty good sized site with a tiny bit of slope but nice. Glad I could get your grill fork back, balance in the universe is nearly restored!

@wi_taco dude, how did that not come up?! Super jealous! In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 was one of the first albums I convinced my parents to buy. No World for Tomorrow I got with my own money and played over and over. Does Claudio still play behind his head?

Looking at the stage, I'm thinking The Sylvee...looked it up, yup. Great venue! Saw Primus there last summer, also Psychedelic Furs w/ X. You have to be at least 10' from the stage though or the sound is really muddy...the speakers are about 5' in front of the stage.

Going to see what they sound like...

Had no idea you were a fan! Bro, IKSSE is 20 years old now, crazy…First saw them in like 2005 at Summerfest with my brother, been into them ever since. Last time I saw them live was the original Neverender in like 2011, been far too long. I don’t think he played behind his head tonight because his hair was too big but I do recall that in the past!

Yep it’s the Sylvee. Agree sound is good but you can’t be up close. The opening act sounded like garbage because of the distortion for that very reason - too small of a venue, harmonics with that much noise just goes into a death spiral. Coheed sounded clean and crisp though, their sound team is second to none.

Just got home after driving through rain all the way back. Some drunk in Madtown wrote a message in the dust on my camper shell window but by the time I realized the rain washed half of it away. I will forever be haunted by not knowing what it said. For now it’s sleepy time though, long day. Good night, TacomaWorld, and may your dreams be pleasant and full of new mods.

Ya know... all ya had to do was ask... I know how to get that trim off. The Cruiser just needs 40's. Taco 35's. Trim comes right off. See?

Looks like you guys had a great time.

For this upcoming weekend at Tigerton.
My plan was to arrive Saturday morning and I have site 66 for Saturday night. Things may change. I just reserved site 66 for Friday night also. If I can get off work Friday, I'll come on Friday afternoon. If anyone needs a site, your welcome to share my site.

Friday definitely doesn't work for me, can't count on getting done early enough. Sat. is a go because Tigerton...and I want to see how this camera is going to work out on the trails...early impressions on the roads in the Kettles last night are very positive. Will want to get home Sat. evening as I have a yard project I hope to make progress on.
