I gotcha. It looks well protected from rocks, but we all know how 20 yr old seals can be.

With 315/75/r17 (34.4") duratracs ended up with just shy of 22" of frame height

Ahhhh another fellow man of taste. Realistically I didn't want to french my frame and it gives me more room for steering.

Plus you don't need the 2miles of slip on the driveshaft!

Starting something new… got asked to do a 4wu kit on this red 4door with bypasses and coilovers and an engine cage. See how it goes.

    currently has a wfo kit

No complaint on my front and rear 4WU 3 link.

My recommendation, stay leaf spring for less routine maintenance :annoyed: and definitely cheaper for the long run. @malburg114 you know how that go.... :hattip:

My 3link has been relatively maintenance free. I haven’t touched anything suspension wise besides tighten some bolts since I finished it 3 years ago now. Heims and everything still feel tight even after several hard seasons of hard wheeling. Only thing I really need to do is replace the lower links as they are pretty mangled

I haven't done much beside the constant torque check on jam nut etc. But when I had my last leaf spring, it was pretty much set and forget.

I'll be curious your thoughts on the kit and how smoothly it all goes together

So far I’ve only unpacked it and I’m missing 2 misalignments and need another right hand 7/8 heim. And absolutely no instructions or info on what to cut on the superduty axle or where to place the link brackets.

I imagine this will just end up similar to mine with fancy brackets that are already made. But I’m staying optimistic on it
