It’s on iOverlander, Granville VT “heavenly views”

I can send you gps location tho if you want. There were spots still open Friday night at 6p, so it seems like less people heading that way now that we are past Labor Day (normally very competitive)

there’s some creek side spots in this area and between warren falls/moss Glen falls FR25 I think if that’s more your speed

That 4WP rear bumper. Mainly because the swing outs can be taken on and off and still look relatively nice.

I was also half debating on waiting until Apogee Offroad ends up releasing theirs.

Just wish that bumper had the hitch behind the plate like SSO. I like that you can keep bsm and parking sensors for when the swing comes off. I’m tempted..

One of the menu options. Passenger or driver or both swing outs.

I kind of would like the ability to run the camp stove on the table lol,

they said tracking info would be sent for the arm tomorrow and the bumper itself by weds.. not sure how long it takes to receive from there. responsive on Facebook

Wait a second, within that 1.75 hour timeframe you bought the bumper and arm?

Yeah, the 4WP one can add arms after the fact. There are cover pieces that go over the ends if you do not have the arms.

Nowadays i won't buy stuff from vendors that isn't in stock to ship. "build to order" ain't happening in the broverlanding world for me anymore, heard way too many stories of people being burned by bad workmanship, surprise 360 lead times, etc. I'll take a used one on facebook, and if there aren't any available, guess I'm waiting :notsure:

I like the idea of that bumper though. Great for a weekend warrior, can keep the wheel under the truck 95% of the time, out of the way, tailgate/bed is easily accessible when the swingout is off.

I did not buy but I did message them on Facebook. Swing arm idea is neat but the hitch and lack of increase of clearance makes me sort of wonder what’s the point. I haven’t hit my bumper yet and if I do I probably won’t want the same spec

@GarlicFarts i feel ya but i feel like certain stuff people aren’t gonna make without it being paid for already.

I understand when theres custom options that they couldnt just keep in stock realistically but for a big company to have lead times for their standard offerings is BS. Theyre literally using customers for an interest free/penalty free loan to get materials.

In the end your buying a product, not a service.

I also don't mind if a company says it's a 360 lead time. I won't buy it, but if they can stick to it, cool.

What I hate seeing is a 2 week advertised lead time that turns into 4 months without anything more than "oh well". This ain't late 2020 anymore, lead times for materials and labor is consistent. Until we see either nuclear warfare or alien invasion, I ain't giving them credit for taking 5-6 months on a 2 week advertised lead time.

Tell me it's 5 months? Cool, I'm game. Rug pull and take 5 months after telling me it's in stock? No dice. Unfortunately that's what killed a lot of the companies that folded in pandemic times. It wasn't bad products, it was bad service. They weren't able to comprehend customer service. Everyone was understanding that things got shafted, but they kept saying 2-3 week lead times, things are in stock, etc. instead of just owning it and saying yeah we got no material and it'll be 4 months, but we'll get it to you.

Thank you for the intel! Would you consider the drive in doable for a stock truck? I’ve been on plenty of dirt roads and such, but never done any formal off-roading. Don’t want to break anything on my daily driver lol

You won’t break anything. Honestly, 30 psi and 2wd I am able to get up there. Some spots it’s probably better to be in 4wd though.

But you will probably get pinstripes. It’s narrow

I get lead time but why should the customer pay for a product in full and have to wait 3-6 months for that product
the customer shouldn't be charges until the product ships
