Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Forgot to mention...yes, it was a true TW event. While we were eating Sendik's pizza @ a local eaterie, there was quite a light show just south of us that moved around east of us out onto the lake. It rained for about 1 1/2 minutes...just enough to get the pavement and sidewalks wet.

Was just watching the Video's of the last Tigerton run ! Was just wondering why no one seemed to go threw the hole next to where you seemed to get a few of you hung up on the rocks ? Was it because you didn't want to get muddy ? Going in the hole when your buddy's are around helps because they can pull you out if you don't make it Plus it lets you learn just what you can get threw with out too much work ! Or Not.......Also helps with Recovery Skills

I can only speak for myself: I don't go to Tigerton for mud holes. Have plenty where I am. Plus I despise cleaning the mess afterwards. Plenty of recovery skills can be built and maintained on the rocks which is why I go there. If you don't get stuck on the rock, your not trying hard enough. Anybody can get stuck in mud...

@Camerasandcoffee went through that mud hole. Took him a few tries to get up and out but eventually made it. Not sure if anyone got pics or video of it.

And I personally avoid the mud if possible. I dislike cleaning it off afterwards.

Yeah, I went through a deep muddle last year and my alternator died on the way home. While it's possible it was unrelated, it sure seems linked.

Anyone can get stuck on the rocks / sand it's all the same ! And I do get the idea of not having to clean afterwards but shit isn't that why we go on the trail. Or is it to just Drive around and say you were there ?

I originally skipped it because it looked like it would have been taking the easy way out. Going over the rocks was more challenging.

Then, I considered it the next time we went through there. But, after Jonathan dented his bumper, I decided to skip that and go around the far side of the mud pit, which was pretty fun.

Also, there should be a video in there somewhere of me going through a different mud pit and tearing off my front bumper cover.

In general, though, I'm just not that interested in mud. I'll play in it occasionally, but I don't really seek it out.

Edited the OP. Here's what I have for Bayfield:

-October 5-8, Bayfield Apple festival + fall colors fire tower tour.

    Loose agenda:

-Camping at East Twin near Clam Lake, Thursday - Sunday

-Thursday - setup/camping, bonfire, BS. Tacos courtesy of Pat (Pearing)

-Friday - Pat's trail day, probably head out around 9am, go play in the dirt, scratchy, winching likely, back to camp in the afternoon/evening.

-TBD: Friday or Saturday afternoon/evening - head into Bayfield for the Apple festival, maybe street food or hit a restaurant. Also, Kevin Bacon burgers courtesy of Tim (Pixeltim) whichever day works better.

-Saturday - fun-run, probably head out around 9am, possible trail lunch at mount Whittlesey, probably a little scratchy, back to camp, bonfire, BS, and beverages.

-Sunday - pack up, head home

-Side note: East Twin looks like a nice lake for kayaking, so I'll be bringing mine along.

We all went through this little mud hole the day before Hell's Revenge. Still getting mud out of the engine compartment from that one...

I probably go through more mud than most of the group. But, I still tend to avoid it when it looks sketchy. Well, unless I'm just feeling silly.

I guess I don't really avoid mud as much as I thought I did.

First off thanks for the invite to the winch fest coming up ! And I wasn't saying none of you play with your truck I just figured somebody would go threw the hole and I heard they did ! I don't go out looking for mud well maybe sometimes but I still like to test Old Blue out every now and then but honestly not a big fan of the nasty rock crawling, too much damage
