I gave up buyin' roasted shit:

• I buy green beans from Coffee Bean Corral [https://www.coffeebeancorral.com/] and roast em in a skillet out back - gotta stir em and toss em a bit so they roast evenly but it is simple and easy to do..
• Takes me about 20 min to roast 1# of green beans
• The green beans keep plenty well for at least a year in my closet [away from sun/heat]
• CBC has a great selection of green beans [Bolivian are my favorite, I also love Yemeni beans but they are $$$ so once/awhile]

 

Shit, we need to meet, just not sure they will let me cross the boarder.

I roast mine light/medium - there is a point, if you go far enough, that they get this yucky burnt/like taste yet apparently some folk like that shit b/c I see it for sale consistently [marked city roast + darker] . . .

Agreed, but I've been pondering the fact that my generation and those that follow have been trained not to think (for nefarious purposes in my opinion). A titanic of followers you could say. However, to steer a giant ship it takes only a small rudder. Imagine what a few good people could do.

I believe people follow courage, educated or not.

He won't drink anything up here cause he says it's all burnt and old. He brings his own beans home to roast and grind. It's slightly more palatable, but still not to my liking.
