somewhere here i saw a thread that mentioned that a 2023 will not connect via blue tooth to an android phone. true or false.
if true that is a deal breaker for me.

You mean for Wireless Android auto? If so that's true but you can get adapter to make it wireless.

    False.

    Define connectivity.

I'm guessing that the context of whatever you were reading was talking about Android Auto/ Carplay, in which case that's true. Almost all major OEM radios require a physical wire to make Carplay/AA work (unless you add an aftermarket doo-dad.)

For just bluetoothin' music and phone audio, that still can be done wirelessly.

Will the Android Auto wirelessly connect if I install a 3" lift? (More height equals better reception)

You can connect to the system via Bluetooth. However, you need to connect via USB to access Android Auto. Not a big deal since there is (on mine) a USB port on the dash, and it keeps the phone charged.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
Perhaps someone can assist me with a similar but slightly different issue.

Using the phone in my 2021 Sport via Android auto, whether connected by the USB cable or via Bluetooth , The sound (ring tone, Dial tone or voice) is garbage unless I touch the Speaker function on the phone screen.

Then it all works just fine!

I've re-Paired the phone and the truck just now while trying to get an understanding. No improvement.
Perhaps it is in the phone settings (Galaxy S10e)
Perhaps it is in the AA settings.

AA seems to work fine for maps, directions etc. Audio works properly as well.

    Suggestions welcome.
