You guys are madmen, I’m a torque wrench nerd.

 

I torque the lca to spindle bolts, u bolts, and lug nuts. And that’s about it lol

 

If you use the crown and cotter pin why do you need loctite? They cotter pin prevents the but from spinning, even if it’s not to torque.

I personally use a torque wrench on this during assembly.

 

Before it cures i think it sorta counts

I feel like I know the answer to this but just to be sure, but you’re not driving the truck like that, correct?

Assuming not due to the tie rod limitation but you need the outer cv assembly to hold the spindle together or you’ll have two pieces of one wheel bearing assembly.

 

Yall know that nut sets the preload of the hub bearing right???

 

It's just on the ground cuz I wanted to see the width of the kit, plus I'll be waiting for axles so might as well take it off the jack stands lol

As a nerd, call it lb/ft (pound force foot) and not ft/lb. Torque is measured in force per radius. The metric guys always have it right, and you’ll never see them call it meter newtons

 

I know you’re right but I can never remember which is correct and I don’t care enough to look it up each time.

 

For now yes, I'm too broke to afford 8" coilovers right now. Before KOH I'm looking to run some big boy bypasses too

 

1/2” impact and 1/2” impact aaaannnddd 1/2” impact…. Lmao. In all seriousness I actually use a 1/2” breaker bar but close enough…

 

Because the crown and cotter are there and take like 8 sec to take off and on.

Torque wrench just verifies I did the right amount of uggas

What’s a torque wrench? I need some more torque from this 3.4, can I borrow someone’s wrench to adjust my torque

 

Same here with the 4.0. This Torque wrench sounds cheaper than supercharger.
