    Blevin a basketball coach came in this morning and said his MacBook lcd screen stopped working. He did not drop it, just opened it up and it was not working. After he left I inspected it and found damage on the corner causing the LCD issue. Luckily the video output was working and I connected an HDMI cable and transferred his data to a usb drive. Apple will wipe it completely when I send it in to them for repair!

    That is a really bad way to start the week! Glad it was just the screen and you were able to recover the data.

    I purchased Apple Care with mine just in case :fingerscrossed: I also bought a 10 gig external HD for Time Machine backups only!
