Choices have consequences...

 

We were gonna name our son Kemp after my wife's grandpa but my brother in laws wife said they were naming their son that (she was pregnant at the same time). They wound up naming their son Brady and have gotten divorced

 

My wife and I use a 2005 Club Car electric as our "farm cart" around the property. If you are careful, that thing will take you about anywhere. And to flip one? You really have to be trying. I have had mine in horrible off camber terrain and it would rather slide sideways down the hill than to flip. It is a nice cart. I just cleaned it up after it worked all summer hauling hay, dirt, manure, etc. My wife has two artificial knees so she uses it a lot for the outside.

 

Guy I went to school with named one of his sons Levi, his other one......you guessed it.....Garrett

Rode the bus with a girl named Candi Cain, not kidding.

 

There's a Seinfeld episode about George having his future sons name picked out, "Seven" after Mickey Mantle. He made the mistake of telling one person and they beat him to the spot and named their kid seven.
My wife got her choice with the first one, we named her my wifes middle name which she always wished was her first name, and one of our favorite places

I named our daughter after a character in a book series I really like. The character in the book was written with grace and intelligence and strength of character that I hope my daughter has. We both picked out our son's name.

 

Get the boy to wrenching on pulling the engine. Gonna take some time to get to the point of opening the engine.

He'll definitely be helping, I got to get the floors done in 3 bedrooms first

 

Called a guy 3 weeks ago about getting a deck estimate, he said he'd try to be there that week. Nothing. I text him a week later and said don't forget us, he said I'll try to be there today at 4:00, nothing. I'm not calling him back.

Another guy is supposed to be there today at 5, we'll see.

I called a guy 3 weeks ago about putting a transfer switch in so I can hook my welder/generator to the house to keep the fridge and some lights on, just in case. He said he'd be in touch, I saw him at the fair last week at his booth he had set up. I didn't talk to him.

There was a competitor there with a booth and generator, I talked to him, he gave me a card and said call him.

I just called him, he'll be there at 4:00 today.

 

Same type stuff here. If you are a business and cant or dont want to do the job just say so up front. I dont know how these type business keep customers...

On that note i dont call back after a second call.

 

The way I look at it is if you can't come look at it when you say you're going to, when are you actually going to do it?

I do my best to tell people no or send them to someone who can do what they need if I can't.

Several posts made it sound like I would be cheating. Just BS. I am basically just cleaning the grooves, not regrooving. I polished the scratches out of the bottom of the club. I was told that can change the weight and make the clubs illegal. Lol I shot 96 last week. Way off my old days of a 12 handicap. I need more help than a quarter gram!
