I did have some input in naming our daughter. She was born in 1992. My mom died when I was six, in 1969. Her name was Sandra. I told my wife I would like to somehow, maybe a middle name, I don't know, but maybe incorporate my mom's name somehow into our daughter's name. I did not hear anything else from my wife. At the time, she cross stitched as a craft hobby. I never paid attention much to her crafts until she showed me the finished product. A few months later, she asked if I wanted to see what she had been working on. She had cross stitched our first child's name and year: Her first name is Cassandra. We have always called her Cassie, but we know the meaning behind the name, and it is cool. My wife is cool, even though she is a 67 year old Grandma!

That's awesome your wife did that.

We gave our son my dads middle name and our daughter has my wife's grandma's first name as her middle name.

    We need another option !

Boy or Girl as long as Mom and Child are both healthy !! That is my vote!

I couldn't do that. I wasn't about to name my kid Leroy.

Funny how it all comes around.

We had a cottage that got Over The Air signals from Boston, Portland and points in between. It was the clearest HD TV I’ve ever seen or heard (in 5.1 surround). Cable processes signals that distort the pure product. Losing that was one of the hardest adjustments when we sold.

I’d drop cable in a minute if I could get a decent set of signals up here but it’s not to be.

That picture reminded me of this, I saw this pipe and one end of a ladder rack laying on the side of the road one morning. After looking at it for a week I stopped and picked it up. The tube is full of plastic conduit.

You would think someone knew it was missing and where it fell off.

No, it's for the powdercoater to hang hooks on to burn them off in his oven.

Every thing was weak or no signal!

Here again I would still need a 100' antenna.
