@Ozark_RegCab I took the Taco to Newton County last weekend. For about 1/2 the gas I still got to check on the sites.

Anyone know how to get primer overspray off a windshield? Scraper doesn't work so probably need chemical. Regular acetone not working either

The ammonia window cleaners have always worked for me; I used that for some fall out that'd stick to my glass

Scraper being? A new razor blade should get it off with the acetone.

ITX won’t fit dual. I think the RTX was purely an issue if I didnt have the free funds at the time

    Yep that's what I tried
I ended up scratching the glass more than I got off the problem

Damn, new blade? Never experienced a new blade scratching as long as it had some lubricant like a cleaner or water with it.

Think this is a sign to just build myself a larger press and get a nice bottom v block

On the plus side, my tapping for raw voltage has me up and running again @mechanicjon so nice to see the two circuits are separate in the VIM module

    20230919_123014.jpg

The crappy thing is, the new bottom die allows for a 3/4" leg and this part exceeds that yet still had some trouble bending

You can see the far end tie down point is actually bent outwards, but on the close end it's a nice 90

    20230919_125629.jpg

    Here's that bent edge

    20230919_125635.jpg

    Definitely needs a tighter radius

    20230919_125642.jpg

Got both sides bent up since "I'm already there"

Feels strong as hell but it's all out of square so it's scrap

Solution is simple; more tonnage and better block not to mention making those notches a little more pronounced at the ends for bending

Damn, would've thought thinner and a crispy blade would do it.
I've used baking soda and vegetable oil and a blade for adhesives, not tried on paint though.

Between the interstate closed for a wreck and all the construction... looking like I'll be sitting in traffic no matter what on my commute. Construction is funneling everyone to the same streets. So here I sit trying to decide if I just work late and wait for traffic to ease or go fight the bullshit....
