Man, I'm really surprised you just don't cut your own parts on a table!

    You have enough orders.

But it's already all hooked up!

Trust me, the CPC port only setup was as clean and professional looking as it gets.

Unfortunately divided voltage via CPC port is not as reliable as raw voltage is.

I have 0 room left in my garage for a table. Would be nice but my workspace is small.

The port does have pins for raw voltage, apparently 5 and 7

I bet I can get PrimeWeld to send me a new plug to solder up some new wires

I'd end up messing up the existing cable setup as the pins are crazy tight together and I put a heatshrink on each cable (4 total), a heatshrink per pair (2 total), and a final one for the whole cable (1, for a total of 7).

    @Wsidr1

Curious, why did you tap into your plasma cutter instead of using pins 5 and 7?

You went straight to raw voltage right?

I went divided voltage with my plug which is why I went into the machine when I went raw. I didn't ask for a replacement plug.

Keep your connections to as few as possible.

Since this is a trigger signal. Every connection can degrade the signal .

Then you would need to switch to Hypertherm !!

I would hear about that from my Hypertherm Rep till I died.

    If you were closer!!

Oh I hear a lot of good about Hypertherm, but even their 45 amp plasma cutter is over $2,200.

Sad thing is, buddy that lives half hour away (he has a Pro table) had a Hypertherm fail and has been using a CUT60 successfully.

When you're retired on a fixed income, it's a little harder justifying a second plasma cutter! The CUT60 cuts phenomenally well though! The issue I had was related to the Langmuir module only fortunately!

You do not need to tell me about living on my $900.00 a month income.

Yeah it was rather...expensive last year

Down payment for the house, plasma cutter, cnc table, welder, several power tools, wedding, all in one year :bananadead:

    Then this year, baby lol
