I really wish I liked those and that they weren't on like 50% of Toyota trucks around here because they really are a PERFECT spec.

These are perfect for skinnies. Even if you don’t care for the look, you can’t beat the fitment.

Perfect price too. They also come in gray . I’m glad to not care about being flashy, flat black was the good enough & better than these ones my 09sport came with

So I have Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S on my truck. They’re SL rated in 255/75/17. What tire pressure are others with the same tires running? 29 (OEM pressure) seems a bit low for my 2005. I’ve tried the chalk test and I must be doing it wrong, because they always feel over inflated or under inflated.

Ya, +4 offset , &probably lighter than the 7.5”+30ofset rims that came on my truck…. Here’s a screenshot too Incase the link doesn’t work . BAM ships FAST , I couldn’t believe how fast they came in like 2 days . Idk why my copy paste links don’t work in Tacoma world https://www.*****************.com/oem-parts/toyota-ptr20-35110-bk-toyota-17-quot-trd-pro-wheels-oem-matte-black-for-4runner-fj-cruiser-tacoma-ptr2035110bk?c=bD0yJm49U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM=

255/70/18 on 18x9-0 FN BFD wheels. Definitely the tread is on the skinny compare to the width of the wheels.

Most of them are approximately 55lbs give or take.

You could always run a 235-85-16. I tried them for a week and didn’t like how they handled. But others have had better luck.

The ST Maxx is the only 255/85/16 that’s close to an all terrain. Technically it’s a hybrid tire but the rest of the tires available in that size are mud terrains. Unless you want to get the M55 which I believe is made for commercial vehicles. So, unfortunately there are no all terrains in that size.

The ST Maxx would be your only real option if you don’t want a mud tire.

@otherphone great looking transformation. It's amazing what wheels and tires can do to alter a Taco's look. Much more rugged looking now.

Anybody else have a very short tread life with their 255 85 r16 ST Maxx? I've had mine on for around 20k miles and looks like I'm down to maybe 20% tread left. Low enough that I'm contemplating replacing them before winter. Aside from that I've really liked the tires in just about every aspect but feel like they've worn extremely quick.
