Had an Alu-Cab Canopy installed today by the folks at CB Adventure Supply in Fort Worth. Great folks to work with and an amazing amount of overlanding equipment on display in their show room. Very pleased with the instal and with the Alu-Cab Canopy. 380 mile round trip to Fort Worth, here’s a snapshot at the Buc-ee’s in Temple for gas and a bio break.

The Taco Garage’s dashtop multi mount arrived today and I wasted no time installing it. Followed their video and installation was no big deal. Put a Tackform Enduro on the ball. It’s nice to finally have a place to put my phone.

I replaced the windshield wipers. I am trying a new brand called trico. If they don’t last longer than 2 years, I’ll upgrade to rainx

Does "unplugging" the battery for any period of time, reset any onboard systems that one needs to be concerned about?

It'll reset them but that isn't necessarily a concern. Generally a benefit.

You could have at least had the dignity to buy a 2nd gen Tacoma. Not only did you lower your standards you also lowered the property value where you park the Chevrolet.
