*EDIT. My factory tires from Toyota are vibrating. I am looking at the Wildpeaks.

So I've made a few posts about my tire issues with my 2023 Tacoma. After 3 trips to Toyota (2 dealers) and 1 trip to a tire shop, my vibration issues have worsened. Interesting enough, I had gotten all 3 balanced last month at the tire shop.

Month later, being told 3 out of balance again. Dealer swapped a tire after doing road force with 1 tire 28lbs... was 8lbs after replacing. Said 2 of the other tires were within spec (high end) but needed balancing. They refused to replace all 3. The ride home was worse than the ride there.

I give up on these tires... I am willing to spend the $900 at this point for new tires for the whole truck. After researching, it appears the Falken Wildpeak and the Cooper Discoverer tires are good middle ground tires. Ride smooth on highway and still capable as offroad tires.

Will I regret this decision? Is my research wrong?

What size are they? I've seen alot of talk on here about this particular tire being "out of round from factory." Also, where'd you buy them from originally? I highly recommend Discount Tire Direct for tire needs moving forward; they'll gladly help you find resolution if you get a bad tire from them.

I guess I should have worded my title different. My stock factory tires of vibrating. I was wanting to get new tires.

Gotcha, yeah it may be helpful to reword your title/post. From the wording, it sounds like you're experiencing issues with Falken AT3W's. Well, to answer the new question, yes plenty of people have experienced the same issues with Falken/Cooper, and every other tire known to man. My best advice, find a shop (like DTD) who stands behind their customers and choose whatever tire you want (any brand can have problems/any gripe about a tire/brand is subjective). As long as you buy from somewhere reputable, they'll address any potential issues you may have thats tire related. Just remember though, vibes can originate from plenty of other places other than tires, so if the tires are balancing "within spec", you might want to look towards a bent rim, driveline vibrations, brakes, etc.

im around 8k miles with my cooper discoverers atp 2 i think. i honestly dont know if they are louder or quieter than stock, kinda seemed quieter when i put them on.

just got back from a 3.5k mile road trip pretty loaded. the truck seemed to drive a little smoother with the weight. i do notice a little steering wheel wobble but im not sure if i need an alignment or not. im also a little past doing a wheel rotation, but everything seems great and fine.

i might swap to wildpeaks when these are done though. thats what i originally wanted

I've been trying to get it looked at it. The dealer I bought it from wants me to drop it off (3 hours round trip). Local dealer isn't interested in diagnosing it.

If you’re going to buy tires your best bet for vibration free is Michelin, but even they make a shitty tire now and then.
I have LTX A/T 2’s and they’re reasonably smooth (and very quiet).

Local guy told me to go with BFGOODRICH TRAIL-TERRAIN T/A. He said it would be the best of both worlds.

2021 - OEM tires were the Firestones. They ran fine but after 3 rotations, proper inflation, and 15,000 mostly street miles were at 3/32~4/32.

Replaced with stock sized Wildpeaks and am happy as a clam. They look great, feel great, and just took them into Monument Valley and trust
me that 'scenic drive' while worth every mile is not for the faint of heart or those with stock tires or those without AWD / 4WD. I put in the
    4WD exercise on that ride.

However, with your issues 3 trips to the dealer and tire shops to remedy this doesn't sound right.
Something else is amiss and I'd go to another dealer and advise of your experience.

The dealer told me I could bring it back, but it's $30 every time with fuel and the tolls and this time they want me to leave it with no loaner, so that's almost $100 between 2 vehicles going back and forth.

Oh heck that stinks. We got like 5 dealers within 50 miles of each other here in Phoenix. If I had your issues where I am I'd go
to another dealer, drive one of theirs, and then ask about a swap.

I'm a huge fan of the Wildpeaks. I've had 2 full sets of 5 tires and never had a balancing issue. I'm actually looking to ditch my current M/T's and go back to Wildpeaks - but definitely gonna wait and see what the new version is like.

I looked at Wildpeaks before I went Baja Boss. I had vibration issues with the Baja Boss and was told one of the weights fell off... Who knows, but its all fixed now. Maybe some weights fell off your OEM wheels?

Had my wild peaks for 2.5 years and about 20k miles. They have been flawless in all situations and tread still looks like new despite driving a lot of miles offroad.

I put Wildpeaks on my wife's Subaru Forester and was impressed and put them on my Tacoma.
At my age it could be the last set of tires I ever buy LOL....

I got some Wildpeaks few months back. c rated I think.

I think they are great tires so far. they are definitely less noisy and smoother than the GY Duratracs on it before.

I have WP's on my Wrangler and Tacoma. Shop said one of the 5 33's on the Wrangler needed a lot of weight to balance but has been fine.

Trail-Terrain T/A is an on-pavement all-weather tire disguised to look like an all-terrain. It's BFG's replacement for the much hated Rugged Trail that came on 2nd gen TRD Off Road (usually nicknamed Rugged Fail).

I suggest you pay of pocket and get your current tires rebalanced at a local indie shop first. The dealer's balancing machine can be out of calibration or simply not configured correctly.

How many miles on the stock tires ? If u kept having issues with vibrations it might not be a tire issue . Have u had alignment done ?
