I saw, I'm just planning on doing the opposite, new trans on the VZ rather than old trans on GR engine.

That guy has had a channel for years where he gets stung and bit by almost anything you can think of, Animal Planet eventually gave him his own show because of it (was about something else though).

Anyway he says of all the shit he's been bitten and stung by, that centipede bite was the worst. I don't remember if he did the Executioner Wasp before or after that though...that one was also pretty bad

Yeah, I love the idea of using a ZF8... I'm considering the A750 though for ease of adaptability, the control logic and I/O can all be provided by a Haltech. The ZF8 has a huge array of solenoids and would use more outputs than are available, plus the solenoid control strategies aren't available for it yet. My thought is one extra gear (making for three gears can also be used in lockup and gear to gear shifting) would be a game changer still for the 5VZ and get it away from the power hungry A340 without sacrificing reliability.

I think I can adapt the Magnusson 2GR FKS Supercharger to my 2GR-FE "easily"

The same spec compressor makes 500+ WHP in Lotus application on the 2GR-FE, but uses a larger heat exchanger.

Oh very familiar with his show, watched it for a long time

I think the bullet ant one had got me hooked way back, being the worst ant to ever get bitten by

Huge fuck no from me

Then there's the other channels of people eating all that shit, which is equally disturbing :puke:

Yeah it's pretty wild, the bullet ant one got me hooked too.

I guess some time back he had a falling out with some producers on his show or something so he doesn't really do those episodes much anymore, but one of his friends still does it. He did one where he got stung by a stonefish and that was pretty brutal, those things are lethal

Taking the risk of having an allergic reaction is one thing (I know they carry an epipen with them).

But to get stung by something that can kill you without no regards to allergic reactions? Fuck that even more.

You remember that woman that held a deadly octopus?

I bought a high power black light and patrolled for a while with the roomie about 45min south of Chandler, never saw even a damn scorpion. Desert insects hide well

For sure. They come out more when its hot & humid though. I finally had one inside this year, killed a couple babies and couple big adult bark scorpions outside.
I've started using crickets as a sign I need to respray - once I start hearing them chirp at night, it's time to do it again
