He literally wrote "Total Chaos is the best, all others are trash" in regards to UCAs and then gave zero examples why he was making said assertion beyond some anecdotal BS and is now calling the other guy "a blind follower" for daring to question his asinine assertion.

Coming back to this and i watched it; gotta say your landings are smooth as hell

I admit I cycle between 1st and 3rd person view as I'm trying to get used to the view from the cockpit in relation to the actual distance of my plane and the runway

That's awesome watching it all from 1st person

 

people pick the strangest hills to die on that's for sure.

Was telling Ryan how I've learned more about aviation in-game than I have in real life (outside of facts/history from air museums and ship exhibits)

 

You would think so, but admitting to being wrong (or even just maybe being wrong) is something of a lost art I guess

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I really want to plan a trip to Ohio at some point. Just to see the National USAF museum in Dayton

 

It's a weird thing to even have such a strong opinion on really, all the tubular UCAs are nearly the same in layout and parts (uniballs and poly bushes). I mean maybe with some destructive testing we could call one "the best" but that certainly doesn't make the others trash. When was the last time you heard of any outright failure of any aftermarket UCA on this forum... light racing maybe back when they first started producing them. That's all I can recall.

But I do love me an awesome museum, it's been months now

 

I've seen a lot of air museums... but I could always see more, not sure if it's worth going to the midwest for though. Spending good hard earned money to fly to and stay in the midwest just seems irresponsible.

Back in the day for me only. Back when MS first released Flight Sim I used it compare and contrast with a sim our company offered for flight training called OnTop. Part of my job only. I am not a computer game person at all. Though I do appreciate the beautiful graphics of today's games.

The CA Science center over here has an A-12 trainer on display right in front of the parking lot. Pretty cool to see the SR-71 precursor, 'cept this particular one had smaller engines being a trainer. Also kind of sad they just have it out in the elements 24/7.

That Soviet Union titanium is holding up well though
