Toyota owner website problem

    Hi,
    I've been self reporting my maintenance since I got the truck in Feb 2022. But since August 22 of this year, I can't make any entries.
    When I try it says, "Unable to save Vehicle Details. Please try later."
    I've tried dozens of times, on 2 different browsers, and 2 different computers.

    I've been on the phone with them 4-5 times, yet the problem persists.

    Can any of you report whether it's working for you since August 22nd?

    App works for me on my taco and my wife’s Prius. It’s not really the best app in the world but it is helpful. I received the notification that my 2nd key fob was available for the Prius on the app 2 weeks before I got the letter from Toyota in the mail.

    Toyota owner website problem
    You might want to clarify - website via computer (which it appears to be) or smart phone app.
    I suspect that OP is referring to Toyota's website not the phone app.

    Don't know if Toyota's server problem is completely fixed. Read a few days ago that someone wasn't paying attention and their server ran out of space, crashed the whole thing.

    It didn’t record my entry from earlier this year. You reminded me, and I just tried again,,,, no joy
    Their site a peeceofchit! You’d think as much as auto MFG’s have to sell tech, this would be a huge priority,,,, but what dafuq do I know,,, nuthin.

    It is working. I am able to logon today.


    Same thing happened to me awhile back. All my self entries on my 2011 vanished. I was told by Toyota that they had the records on a backup but couldn’t restore for me.

    I like your reply better than mine. At least we got a date to watch.

    Here's what they sent me, "We apologize for the concern you are experiencing with your vehicle’s connected services. Please be advised that we have received your case and it is actively being worked on by our technical support teams. A Toyota representative will reach out once your request is resolved or if any additional information is needed. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work on this matter.

    Maybe they just want to get rid of the ability for people to add in their 3rd party services so they can void more warranties.

    Does any of this self reporting go on the Carfax Report? I notice various chain oil places are reporting to Carfax.
