Just installed new headlights on the 3rd gen tacoma OR. Was wondering why my driver side headlight droops. I could fit my finger in the gap between the headlight and the hood. Passenger side is good but can't figure out why the driver side sags down. I've taken the headlight out and placed it back in 2-3 times now made sure it was clipped in and aligned. Though i did notice there is some play in the inner screw mount on the headlight itself. I pushed the headlight up and then placed a thick piece of plastic and then screwed it back down and that seemed to fix it though I don't know if that's issue or the headlight is fault. Any ideas or better fixes?

What brand of headlights did you install?

Unfortunately, like with many other things, you get what you pay for with headlights. AlphaRex are cheap Chinese products and you're experiencing just one of the many issues reported with them. I'd suggest calling their Customer Service number and pleading your case. And even if they rectify this problem, you're going to have many more over the (relatively short) life of the product. Sorry.
